This notice covers the RB Consulting informational website. It explains what information is processed when you visit the site, why it is processed and how to contact us about your privacy.

It does not replace any separate privacy information or data processing agreement provided for a client engagement.

Website hosting and technical data

The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you request a page, technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time may be processed to deliver the site, maintain availability and investigate abuse or errors.

Vercel and its infrastructure providers may process this information outside the United Arab Emirates, including in the United States. Vercel’s role and applicable safeguards are described in its Privacy Notice and, where applicable, its Data Processing Addendum. Vercel also processes certain service-generated data for its own purposes.

Provider-managed logs are retained under the provider’s applicable policies and service settings. We do not specify a fixed deletion period for logs we do not control.

Cookies, analytics and website features

The current website code does not set cookies or use browser storage. We have not integrated advertising pixels, visitor analytics, session recording or social media tracking.

There are no account registrations, contact forms, payment forms or file uploads on this website. Styles and the favicon are served with the site; fonts use your device’s installed font library. There are no embedded maps or videos.

Hosting infrastructure may process technical information independently of these website features, as described above.

Information you send to us

If you write to us, we use the contact details and information you provide to understand your enquiry, respond and maintain relevant correspondence. Please send only the information needed for your request.

Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the matter and meet applicable record-keeping requirements or resolve disputes. The appropriate period depends on the nature of the enquiry and whether it leads to an engagement.

Purposes and legal grounds

Website-related processing is limited to delivering and securing the site, handling correspondence and complying with applicable obligations. The relevant legal ground depends on the processing and the law that applies. This may include steps requested before entering a contract, performing a contract, meeting a legal obligation or consent where required.

Where European or UK data protection law applies, necessary website delivery and security may be based on legitimate interests in operating a secure website; contractual enquiries on pre-contractual steps or contract performance; and legally required processing on a legal obligation. Merely visiting the site is not treated as consent to marketing.

Recipients and security

Technical data is processed by the hosting provider and its infrastructure providers. Correspondence may be handled by people or service providers supporting the relevant enquiry, or disclosed where required by law.

The website uses HTTPS to encrypt information in transit. No online system can guarantee absolute security. This website does not carry out automated decisions or profiling that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Your privacy rights

Depending on the law that applies and the circumstances, you may have rights to information about processing, access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to processing, and portability. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent for future processing.

To make a request, use the contact details in Who is responsible. Describe your request and provide a way for us to respond. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity. Rights may be subject to statutory conditions and exceptions.

You may also raise a complaint with the competent data protection authority under the law applicable to your situation.
